We invite you to the Senegal - Slovenia economic relations promotion forum with the presence of many Slovenian and Senegalese companies and businessmen, mayors, representatives of government institutions of the Republic of Senegal and eminent personalities. This meeting will be held from November 21 to 24, 2021 in Dakar.
In order to get to know this country better, following the program of the forum, we invite you to take the time from November 24 to 28, 2021 to take a look at the commercial and tourist environment of this country. After the first successful meeting in Ljubljana (picture) and the agreements that have already led to successful deals, we set out on a trip to Africa for a multi-day business forum in Senegal.
The organization of this forum from 21 to 24 November 2021 (Sunday - Wednesday) in the capital of Senegal Dakar includes:

Visit the capital DAKAR and the historic island of Goree, Pink Lake
November 24, day 4: DAKAR - PINK LAKE (Lac Rose)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the largest city and the administrative center of Senegal: Independence Square, the Parliament, the Palace of the Republic. Visit the Kermel and Sandaga markets. From typical Senegalese food and spices to handicrafts and flea market. Despite modernization and development, markets are important part of the pulse of all African cities. Path continues past the University, residential areas and to the African Renaissance Monument. (depending on the location of the hotel, the order of visits may be different).
Continue to the island of Gorée and visit the Slave House and learn about the importance of the island for the history of the continents on both sides of the ocean. Possibility to spend short free time on the beach.
Continue to Pink Lake. Accommodation in hotel CHEZ SALIM. Overnight.
Included: breakfast, lunch on the island, dinner at the hotel.
Morning visit to Rose Lake Retba. The lake is a large shallow lagoon, only 100 m away from the ocean and surrounded by dunes and casuarina trees (Filaos).
Our program also includes meeting and socializing with the locals: You will visit Fulani in their houses and get to know life in the villages that surround the lake;
See how they extract salt from lake water. Continue to Lompoul. Overnight under comfortable desert tents. Included: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
26.11 days 6: LOMPOUL
Breakfast at the hotel and early morning departure to visit the national park. Lunch in a typical restaurant, enjoy the national Senegalese chebujen from Saint Louis. Chebujen is prepared from rice and fish with tomatoes and vegetables.
After lunch transfer to the town of Saly, where you will arrive late in the afternoon.

28.11 day 8: SALY - INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the hotel. Free, relaxing morning and last purchases. Lunch. Transfer to the airport according to the flight time. Flight to Europe and transfer from the airport to Slovenia.

To travel to Senegal, you need a Slovenian passport (or another if you are not a Slovenian citizen) valid for at least 6 months after return.
It is also necessary to arrange vaccination against yellow fever. Once you are vaccinated, this applies permanently. Vaccination must be arranged at least 10 days before the trip.
You must make an appointment for vaccination at NIJZ (in Slovenia).
